Every second Saturday from April 8 to August 12 (except July 1), the Ancestors’ Gallery will welcome beadworking artists from various Indigenous backgrounds, who will demonstrate different styles and techniques of beadwork.

Karen Fleming is an Inuk artisan born and raised in Ottawa. She enjoys working with natural materials that speak to her, focusing on beaded jewelry and sealskin items. Karen has learned much of her craft from the local community, as well as from attending workshops.
